We, ‘The People’, says The Constitution, at its opening!
Which ‘People’, if we may ask ?!
By the time one answers this fundamental question, we will discover that the People means all the Citizens.
As organised in their human settings, in what they do, and where they belong, under their natural and cultural custodians, THE TRADITIONAL RULERS.
Now, we can say that Traditional Rulers are the natural and permanent rulers and leaders of The People, backed by Constitutional Provisions.
Unless, of course, Constitutional Lawyers and tenured Political Leaders are afraid to say so – The Fear of Losing the Market.
It is all about Paper Work open to re-writing when the need arises anyway.
And we always strive to be Nigerians, not without roots or points of reference.
Be proud to be a Nigerian with a real sense of belonging and able to participate and contribute from your base.
AND THAT’S THE ESSENCE OF BEING CITIZENS OF AN INDEPENDENT NATION.
